About Bluegrass Lacrosse League (BLL)
The Bluegrass Lacrosse League (BLL), based in Louisville, KY, is a unique and competitive league that welcomes players of all skill levels — from beginners to advanced athletes. All registered players are drafted to a team after attending the BLL Training Camp for their age group. This is not a tryout, but rather an evaluation to help coaches create fair and balanced teams.
Players are picked by the coaches to one of four BLL teams and are placed on either the A Division or AA Division based on their age and experience. Even if a player can't attend the Training Camp, they will still be drafted to a team! All players will be placed on a team that sign up.
By organizing players into skill-based divisions, BLL ensures a competitive and fun environment where every athlete can develop their skills, get valuable game experience, and enjoy the game of lacrosse.
The Bluegrass Lacrosse League Mission
Our mission is to build a strong lacrosse community, nurture talent, and inspire the next generation of players through dedication, sportsmanship, and a shared passion for the game. By offering multiple divisions, we ensure that everyone, from beginners to advanced players, can participate and thrive.
